OVER A CUP OF TEA is the name of our occassional lecture series, where journalists and scholars come over and share their experiences and scholarship with the students.
These lectures often extend to more than two or three hours and provide a unique insight into the area of expertise of the invited speaker.
We have decided to call it OVER A CUP OF TEA for two reasons. It is a tribute to legendary journalist Pothan Joseph who wrote a daily column called "Over a cup of tea". Also, the name gives the manner in which these talks are conducted with students listening in and also participating with their questions and remarks. The best conversations, or at least so we believe, are had over a cup of tea.
Those who have discussed, lectured, spoken, and shared over a cup of tea include: (in alphabetical order)
